It is still not certain who will represent Hugo Selenski in the Kerkowski/Fassett case. A preliminary hearing on the current charges is scheduled for this week. Guess it won't happen if Hugo doesn't have an attorney by then. Apparently Demetrius Fannick wants to be privately paid versus the piddly salary the county would pay him. Now that he is well known locally and nationally, he sure isn't hurting for legal work. Maybe he thinks Hugo is guilty in this case and doesn't want to take the chance of marring his reputation at this point. Atty. Fannick is an excellent defense attorney and a mighty good looking one! This second case will probably have the same outcome no matter who represents Hugo. Guess we will find out this week whether or not Fannick will take tha case or move on. Any Hugo admirers out there willing to contribute to the Hugo Selenski defense fund to keep Atty. Fannick as Hugo's attorney????? Hugo would be eternally grateful to you I'm sure!

Looks like Hugo didn't kill the drug dealers according to the jury. Hugo just "abused their corpses". What about the pharmacist and his girlfriend? Will he be able to "smirk" this one away? How many murders will he be charged with before a jury finds him guilty? At least there is some substantial evidence for this next case. If you thought the first trial was interesting, wait until you hear the facts in this one! Although Pat and Paul are again involved in this next one, so too are many truth tellers who will also testify. Can there really be that many people who want to "place the blame" on Hugo or is it possible that Hugo IS a serial killer????

What are the twists and turns in the deliberating? How much longer do they need? It appears as though the longer it takes to get a vedict, the less likely it is to be in the defendant's favor. Have any of Hugo's family or friends been able to talk to him recently? How is doing now? When does Hugo think this will be over? How is Hugo's family dealing with this? Blessings to all!

The prosecution and defense have "presented their sides". Closing arguments are scheduled to take place on Monday morning. By the afternoon, the case will be in the hands of the jury. How long will the jury deliberate? An hour, two hours, half a day, one day, or longer? Looks like the majority of people think there has been so much doubt created that a verdict should easily be decided Monday afternoon. Just think it is possible that Hugo Selenski could be legally out on the streets sometime next week!!

What was one of the victim's mother thinking when she had a brief conversation with Pat Russin? How could she forgive someone who has plead guilty to third degree murder in the death of her son? The victims families have been talking about Hugo and his supporters. Although all of the evidence has some connection to Pat Russin, it is Hugo's support group that is being condemned. It is understandable that the families of "Rudy" and "Redman" are emotionally distressed. They have no closure in their lives and will probably never know exactly how or who killed their loved ones. That must be extremely hard. The only thing that links Hugo to these murders is the testimony of Pat "the rat" Russin. If Pat were telling the truth, he would not have several different versions of what happened at the time of the murders. When someone tells a lie, they often forget what they said and thus change the story. Every time the "story" is retold it is altered. Atty Fannick said it best; "Facts don't lie, people do"!
