HUGO SELENSKI
Saturday March 4, 2006
The first week of testimony has concluded. Thus far, there has been no incriminating evidence against Hugo. Items have been found at the "crime scene" but there has not been anything that proves or even leads one to believe that Hugo committed murder. Atty Fannick is to be commended for his performance in the courtroom. He is an excellent attorney. Hugo is very involved in his case also. It's been asked how Hugo can sit in the courtroom with a smile when prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for him. The answer is simple. Hugo didn't do it and he knows the information presented will lead to reasonable doubt.

The prosecution has given many witnesses the opportunity to "tell their story" thus far. Isn't it interesting how Paul Weakley and Pat Russin know much about the "bodies" that have been recovered? They knew where to find the "bodies, who they were, how they were killed, how long the remains were burned, and so on. Let's not forget that Paul and Pat had "free access" to the Mt. Olivet property. It is also known that both guys were jealous of Hugo for reasons that stem back long before June 5, 2003. (a perfect reason to frame Hugo as well as to obtain lesser sentences for their crimes) Hugo has made some bad choices in the past but he has admitted to them. He would never put his family through this ordeal if he were GUILTY. Did Hugo have a trial for the bank robbery? I think not. As far as preferred seating for the victims' family and not for Hugo's family, that is totally unfair. While the victims' family is allowed to have front row seating, Hugo's family is given seating in the last row. Why should Hugo's family be treated as though they are " guilty until proven innocent"? Everyone involved in this case is going through emotional turmoil but they should all be treated equally. Hugo remains to be innocent until proven guilty and should be treated as such. His family did nothing to ask for this treatment except to provide support for Hugo. The national and local media get better seats than Hugo's family. That will definitely change! Hugo is a great guy and has a tremendous support team including immediate family, relatives, and close friends. Hugo and Atty Fannick will prevail in this case!

The long awaited trial for accused double murderer Hugo Selenski will begin tomorrow morning promptly at 10am at the Luzerne County Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre. The courtroom is expected to be filled to capacity. The majority should be those that Hugo knows and wants to be at his trial. Although he doesn't mind having admirers, Hugo would not be happy if his friends and family could not attend because of all the people just there to "catch a glimpse of Hugo". For those of you who are infatuated with Hugo, please get your thrills from the newspapers and the television. If you have not maintained contact with Hugo or attended the hearings or voir dire process, do not bother to go to his trial. Instead, send him a letter to show your support or disapproval.

When the trial begins, the facts presented will determine the verdict. Hugo's baby blues and confident grin should NOT be a deciding factor. It's not all about Hugo's looks!
